I would not recommend any coaching on the field during the game.
In addition I would recommend coaching only prior to a game - at half time and a summary at the end of the game.
Also, players when substituted in or out may also be coached prior to entry and upon departure.
Players should not be coached during the game for two simple reasons:
- They do not learn or gain from the "shout" and
- All the "shout" does, in most cases, is frustrate the child and add unnecessary stress to what should be a fun experience.
