David Rice - A little update for you…

Koach Karl - Let's take a look at our progress.

David Rice - Held two practices in anticipation of playing that tough team again.

Koach Karl - You should approach every practice with the idea that your team will be facing a tough opponent every game. Remember we established a 'Routine' that lead to your Dream practice and so you should aim to have every practice to be ideal.

David Rice - For the Small-Sided games, I set up uneven teams and focused of them passing the ball to an open teammate. They seemed to have fun and certainly got the idea.

Koach Karl - Another positive step forward - having your players pass to a teammate rather than the opponent …And how much better can it get but the players having FUN while they are catching on?

David Rice - In the scrimmages, we focused on clearing the ball towards the touchlines when we get possession near our own goal. The definitely got it.

Koach Karl - Can't ask for more..!

David Rice - Now for the game … we got whopped, I think the final score was 0 - 5. But you know what, the game was clean, fair and a lot of fun.

Koach Karl - I am very impressed by your attitude toward the score because the result is history once the final whistle blows and we all know that we can not change history. Realizing that it was a clean, fair and fun game is a Giant Step forward for you and your players - Congratulations!

David Rice - My girls did exceptional - they took on these bigger girls and played them well. They cleared the ball to the touchlines just like we practiced!!! I was really, really proud of these girls!

Koach Karl - And I am really, really proud of you for focusing on their enjoyment and development rather than the results. You have taken another Giant Step forward toward becoming a true FUNdamental Soccer Coach
